Background of PXG Drivers

Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG) was founded in 2014 by an entrepreneur named Bob Parsons. Prior to starting PXG, Bob was credited as the founder of Jomax Technologies, which is now known as the domain registration company, GoDaddy. His new passion, post GoDaddy, was to disrupt the golf world with one mission in mind: to craft the world’s finest golf clubs using cutting-edge technology and uncompromising craftsmanship. So, in 2014, out of Scottsdale Arizona, PXG was formed and immediately began turning heads with it’s newly customizable drivers and irons. Though, to be clear, it’s first true release was not until 2015 when the 0311 Gen1 PXG irons came out and in 2016 when the first 811 PXG golf driver was produced.

From a sales standpoint, what sets PXG apart from other retails is their direct-to-consumer model, which bypasses traditional retail markups in hopes to deliver tour-level performance for a slightly more accessible price. From a customization standpoint, PXG is focused on offering free fittings and a no-compromise approach to fine tuning every club in your bag. They want golfers to get every advantage they can. What sets PXG apart in quality is its relentless focus on materials and engineering. These drivers aren’t just clubs; they’re precision instruments, often outpacing competitors in ball speed and MOI (moment of inertia) tests, backed by a lifetime warranty that underscores their durability.

PXG is here to stay and several pros have already adopted PXG as their preferred set of clubs. Some notable names include LPGA Tour player Lydia Ko, PGA Tour players Zach Johnson, Jake Knapp, and Joel Dahmen.
