Callaway Apex Irons

The Callaway Apex iron specs and lofts are pretty much in the mid handicap range in my opinion. The set starts with the Callaway Apex A Wedge loft at 48 degrees, the Callaway Apex Pitching Wedge loft at 43 degrees, and ends with the 3 iron loft of 19 degrees.

Other Callaway Apex Irons Specs included in the table below are loft, length, lie, and offset.

The Apex set only goes down to the Gap Wedge (AW). Most players opt for a different set of wedges than their irons once they get to either the gap wedge or the sand wedge. Hope that helps.

Callaway has been fudging the loft specs for years…all marketing b.s. !!!
Standard loft PW 48° was always the standard. Now, Callaway’s Apex PW @ 43°. All Callaway irons range, for the most part, from 3.5° to 5° strong. All part of their marketing strategy !!!
Very deceiving for most amateurs out there !!!

Hey Lawrence – you are right! The game has changed a lot and distance has become part of every golfer’s desires…which, I don’t necessarily agree with but Callaway isn’t the only one to blame, it’s everyone!
